4.0 GPA — Focus: Intelligent Systems. In this degree program I studied how to apply machine learning algorithms to business problems and learned a number of key Data Science skills. Primary languages used/learned were python. Other languages developed included (but are not limited to) PHP, HTML, Javascript, CSS, SQL.

Current Position

Devin is a Project Director at the DGC Group. This elite consulting firm handles Global 1000 clients on a highly selective basis. His assignments involve managing the work plan and execution of qualitative and quantitative analysis, practices, and strategy. Devin has also been heavily involved in the gamification of certain endeavors with AAA’s branch programs. 2014-Present

Prior Position

Devin worked at Ivy Language Consulting in Qinghai and Yunnan Province in China for five years. During this time Devin developed brand strategies; business plans; customer experience programs; marketing; B2C and B2B partnerships. Devin worked with clients like China Development Bank, Qinghai Normal University, and Hilton hotel. 2010 – 2014

  • Service Quality Advising for Large International Clients at China Development Bank. Devin played a key role in acquiring China Development Bank as an early client for Ivy Language Consulting. He developed a training program designed to improve service quality for newly hired sales associates who deal with international clients.
  • Developed Customer Satisfaction Training programs for large hotels in China. Devin recognized a growing need for training at international hotels in Dali, Yunnan. His strategic training helped hospitality staff recognize key differences between American and Chinese culture and highlighted differences between expectations in the hospitality industry.
  • Developed Ivy Language Consulting Brand and Business Strategy. Devin developed the Ivy Language Consulting logo, website, marketing collateral. He also developed the key marketing strategies for connecting to the local marketplace and building a B2B direct sales approach. He also directed facility decisions, product development and prioritization, budgeting and scalability of services.

Before: Devin was the executive outbound sales manager for the leading online marketing firm working with insurance agents in the U.S. His team exceeded goals in every period and set sales records for Netquote.
